Baobab Essential Oil has a silky and smooth feel from the very first drop will begin to nourish the skin and may support many medicinal concerns.

Baobab Essential Oil is high in vitamins A, C, D, and E.  Vitamin C is vital in the formation of collagen – the tissue which gives skin its firmness – as well as having powerful antioxidant properties which neutralize free radicals.  Only a small amount of dietary vitamin C reaches the skin and studies have shown that applying vitamin C topically is twenty times more effective for the skin than when taken orally. 

The vitamins within many of the carrier oils contain a myriad of skin-building ingredients and baobab oil is no exception: vitamin A stimulates and increases the deposition of collagen and supports elastin (which gives skin its elasticity); vitamin D promotes the skin’s barrier against foreign microbes; and vitamin E, like C, contains powerful antioxidants.  The antioxidant properties of the vitamins also protect the oil itself from oxidizing and breaking down, thereby increasing its stability and shelf life.  Without these, the composition of the oil, being high in essential fatty acids, would make it susceptible to oxidation. 

What is the importance of the fatty acids known as Omega 3, Omega 6, and Omega 9 contained in the Baobab oil?  They are called ‘essential fatty acids’ because they are vital to health, yet the body is unable to manufacture them.  Just two of their specific roles are cell regeneration, aiding vitamin absorption.  Increasing omega oils into the body, both orally and topically, is particularly therapeutic for treating psoriasis and eczema.

TOPICALLY:

Stretch Marks:  Overtime massaging 1 -2 Drops Baobab Essential Oil into stretch marks may help the appearance and stimulation of the natural collagen and elastin fibers underneath the skin when massaging 20 minutes before a bath or shower.

Finger Nails:  Massage 1 Drop Baobab Essential Oil around the cuticle and throughout the nail as it is a rich source of natural Calcium, Vitamin C, E, and other essential antioxidants, It may help promote healthier growth, improve texture, and may help them from being ruptured, brittle, or broken.

Scalp Soother:  Gently massage 2 – 3 Drops Baobab Essential Oil on the scalp, Baobab Essential Oil may help to soothe very quickly. It may help to nourish the scalp, reduce irritation, control the cytokines in the cells, and decrease inflammation.

Discomfort Management:  Baobab Essential Oil is a rich source Saponins and Terpenoids an anti-inflammatory mixing 1 -2 Drops Baobab with 1 -2 Drops MCT Carrier Oil and 1 -2 Drops Frankincense and Myrrh Essential Oil may provide support to joints and bones.

Mouth Rinse:  Mixing 1 -2 Drops Baobab Essential Oil with 6oz – 8oz warm water, gargle ensuring that the mixture contacts the area of concern. 

Direct Application:  Using a Q-Tip, Drop 1 -2 Drops Baobab Essential Oil on the Q-Tip and gently apply to the area of concern.

OTHER USES:  

Insecticide and Disinfectant:  Using a 12 oz Spray Bottle, mix 2 Cups Water with 5 – 10 Drops Baobab Essential Oil, which is a natural source of Cyclopropenyl, making it a potent insecticide and disinfectant.
